National Service Scheme

The NSS Unit of our college undertakes various activities for providing a platform for the students to interact with the society. We have around 300 volunteers registering for NSS every year. One of the major project that has been undertaken by the NSS unit from the last five years is for the cause of environment protection. This project is the making of paper bags and cloth bags and its distribution in the society. The project was started in the year 2015 with the making of paper bags which were launched and distributed among the business owners at the hands of Adv. Shri Narendra Sawaikar. Our volunteers made around 1,00,000 lakh paper bags and distributed among various shop owners and people of Ponda .
This was followed with the stitching of cloth bags in the subsequent year and the cloth bags were launched at the hands of late Smt. Mridula Sinha, Ex-Governor, Goa. .  From then onwards every year our volunteers make paper bags as well as stitch cloth bags which are then distributed among the people of Ponda.
Our volunteers also take part in arious other regular NSS activities like campus cleaning, tree plantation, visit to old age homes, orphanages etc.
We also conduct NSS Special Camp of 7 days for our volunteers and also Blood Donation Camps every year
