Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (or STEM) are slowly being recognized as a vital part of education. Thus, the role of STEM education in the NEP 2020 is very important. The need of the hour is to understand why this is so and how we can work on it in conjunction with the changing times. GVM’s Gopal Govind Poy Raitucar College of Commerce and Economics, Farmagudi, Ponda is organising 01 day State Level Seminar on Interdisciplinary approach of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science, envisaged by NEP 2020 on 27th September, 2023. Computer Science expert Associate Prof. Ramrao Wagh and Asst. Prof. Dr. M. Kunhanandan, expert in Mathematics, from Goa University will enlighten on STEM to the various faculty of different colleges in the State.
