Gopal Govind Poy Raiturcar College Library started functioning in year 1986. It was then shifted to the new library building inaugurated by Justice R.M.S. Khandeparkar, Judge of Mumbai High Court in the year 2007.
The library has different sections such as Circulation Section, Reference Section, Reading Room, Book Stacks and Research section. The total area of the library is 365 m2.
The main aim of the library is to provide students an environment for developing:
i) Academic excellence,
ii) Intellectual curiosity,
iii) Reading habit, and
iv) Attitude towards lifelong learning.
